Alpharetta Campus Hosts First Stress Less Event
The Alpharetta campus just finished hosting an exciting Stress Less event, planned and hosted by Panther Activities Council (PAC) members and the Student Life office. Panthers kicked it back in true #GSUAlpharettaSpirit by chasing the midterm blues away with Stress Less.
With the Stress Less series, students are encouraged to learn that healthy study habits include self-care and time away from cramming for exams. Many of Alpharetta’s students and staff came out to show their support towards students in an environment of relaxation and fun.
All students on campus were invited to enjoy a little distraction from the stress of midterms in a low-stress environment on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., room AA1140 was filled with furry therapy dogs, fun board games, relaxing music, ice cream and of course, friendly Panther faces. With nearly 200 students taking part, the program helped students to reduce their stress and gave attendees an opportunity to take a quick survey to identify upcoming opportunities for future Stress Less events and new ideas for PAC-hosted programs at Alpharetta.
